NEUROPATHIC PAIN
Chiropractic Solutions welcomes combinations of treatments to help our San Jose chiropractic patients looking for healing. Chinese medicine treats diabetic neuropathy, a serious complication of diabetes and trigger of kidney disease, by regulating pathways involved in the glucose/lipid metabolism regulation, antioxidation, anti-inflammation, anti-fibrosis, etc. (4) Chinese medicine treatment of neuropathic pain commonly involves the frankincense-myrrh combination as it is explained as being able to stimulate blood and disperse blood stasis. It was tested and found to ease neuropathic pain likely related to neuro-inflammatory agents TLR4 and MyD88 and to preventing TRPV1 and inflammatory factor expression. (5).
