Massage therapy, chiropractic/osteopathic manipulation
supplements, yoga, and acupuncture were most advocated.
Family/general family practice physicians suggested
chiropractic/osteopathic manipulation most often. Female more than male physicians were more prone to
recommend massage, herbs/supplements, yoga, acupuncture, and
mind-body therapies. (3)
